Climate Pledge Arena // Rising from the heart of Seattle Center, Climate Pledge Arena is a modern reimagining of a 1962 World’s Fair icon—and the world’s first net zero–certified arena. It’s now home to the NHL’s Seattle Kraken, the WNBA’s Seattle Storm, and the biggest acts in live entertainment.

I’ve had the privilege of serving as creative lead, director, and brand manager from the arena’s earliest stages through its grand opening and beyond. What began as a team of one has grown into a powerhouse creative collective, and together, we’ve built a brand that’s as innovative and unforgettable as the venue itself.

Video Production // I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the most talented videographers in the business—both in-house and on contract—and together we’ve built stories that celebrate the spirit of Climate Pledge Arena.

6 Months • I wrote, directed, and produced this celebratory video with our contract videographer to mark CPA’s “half-birthday.” The goal: show fans, guests, and partners just how much we’d achieved in our first six months. Energy, pride, and people—all in one fast-moving, feel-good recap.

Lizzo Announcement • What started as a fun idea from teammate—a middle school marching band announcing Lizzo—became a viral moment. I directed the shoot, and our playful, community-centered reveal ended up being the official tour announcement Lizzo shared with her 13.5 million followers.

Tours (Cribs) • To spotlight our new arena tours, we teamed up with Kraken goaltender Philipp Grubauer to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the arena—“MTV Cribs” style. It was equal parts nostalgic, hilarious, and a perfect nod to our fans.

Rain City Showcase // In 2022, we made history. Climate Pledge Arena hosted the inaugural Rain City Showcase—an NBA preseason game that showed the league that the city that Seattle was more than ready for the return of pro basketball, and the Seattle Supersonics. The success of that night sparked its 2023 encore, and for me, it stands as the highlight of my career. Working hand in hand with the NBA was nothing short of electric—a masterclass in collaboration, precision, and the power of sport to unite a city.

Artist and Fan Activations // I was proud to lead a powerhouse team of cross-departmental collaborators dedicated to delivering unforgettable fan and artist experiences. From icons like Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks, and Bruce Springsteen to modern stars like Lizzo, we made sure everyone who stepped “Under Our Roof” felt the magic. We brought the community into every moment—partnering with local makers, bakers, and premium brands like Filson—to craft experiences that felt authentically Seattle and truly one of a kind.

Specialty Cocktail Program // From its inception, I helped bring this program to life and shape it into a signature part of the Climate Pledge Arena experience. Working hand-in-hand with partnerships, food & beverage, and marketing, I oversaw everything from program logistics and cocktail photography to design production. The result is a visually rich, high-performing program that not only delights guests but continues to generate meaningful additional revenue.

Hiring Fest // At Climate Pledge Arena, innovation is in our DNA—and our recruiting efforts were no exception. We reimagined the traditional hiring process by designing a campaign inspired by the energy and creativity of a music festival. The result? A bold, buzzworthy initiative that struck the right chord with applicants and exceeded our recruitment goals in its first year.

Digital Holiday Card // To support our sustainability mission, Climate Pledge Arena has moved to an all digital card sent to our promotors, artist agents, vendors, and partners. CPA loves speaking to our history, so bringing a classic, mid-century modern vibe is always a fun space to work in. And who doesn’t love a little gif action?
